It’s honestly a good rifle I went shooting today with my ab3 in 300 win mag with some 178 grain elds loads I worked up and was shooting groups of five rounds at 3/4 inch Moa at 100 yards. It definitely will get the job done for a budget or entry level rifle

I've got an X-bolt and if the A-bolt is anything like it, you'll love it. I couldn't be happier with the X.

Bolt actions are just fun man. Arguably some of the most satisfying weapons to handle. Shotguns are close too

another great entry level Rifle I bought my sister one in 243 it's picky on ammo but after a few boxes found norma gave same hole groups at 100

i have one i got used for like 400 bucks. walnut stock. .308 stupid accurate and shoots any 150 gr round ive fed it phenomenal. never a hiccup with it.

I have an A-Bolt with the BOSS tuning system. Works great. Very nice rifle.

I bought a Marlin XS7 with a light, cheap stock. I shoved 2 tennis balls cut in half into the butt stock and floated the barrel except for about an inch which I glass bedded as well as the recoil lug. It definitely sturdied things up a bit.👍

I love the feel of a Browning in my hands, what I love about bolt-actions is learning firing discipline & precision compared to doing a full mag-dump modern productions.

Had one in .30-06 and despite multiple loads tested it was a 2+ MOA gun. Ended up selling it and bought a Winchester Model 70 that shot 1/2-3/4 MOA.

My dad has one of these, with a Recoil Hawg triple baffle muzzle brake, bipod, and 3-9x50mm IR (Illuminated Reticle) scope.
Shoots like a beauty, kicks very little, and is very fun to shoot. He promised to leave it to me in his will.

AB3s are decent entry-level rifles. Nothing like the original A-Bolts, and definitely not an X-Bolt, but they will get the job done.
