How to identify your Apple iPod Touch model

Hi, this video shows you how to determine which generation of Apple iPod touch that you have. The quickest way is to look at the model numbers on the back. A1213 is the 1st generation, A1288 is the 2nd generation, A1318 is the 3rd generation, A1367 is the 4th generation, A1509,A1421 are the 5th generation and A1574 is the 6th Generation.

MUCH appreciated! Now I can order the parts I need. Thought mine was a 7, but it's a 6.

I should point out, I will NOT be buying any more apple products; they don't like owners being able to find parts, or make them easy to access (battery). I got the model with the most storage, but that is no longer adequate. I do see some other brands are now made that hold 2TB!

I Just buyed the Generation 6 in Year 2019. I Just had the iPod nano (3. Generation) and after that the iPod classic (120 GB) and (160GB). Just missed the classic with much GB. That is why i now have the 128Gb version. :-) Here i am go again. .... :-)
