Lets do the calculation here...

Stigmas from 150-180 flowers needed to make up 1 gram of dried kesar.

Hence
More than 1.5 lacs flowers needed to produce 1kg of dried saffron.

Plus atleast 10 seconds would be needed to harvest stigmas from a single flower

In 1 minute 5 -6 flower's stigmas can be harvested.
And you need to pluck and harvest from nearly 1.5 lacs flowers to make up one kilo gram

Do your research dont trust the process blindly.
