Making the Map | Telling Tales with Clive Hicks-Jenkins

How many local legends do you know where you live? England's history is a treasure trove of myth, legend and folklore, from St George and the dragon to a plague of snakes turned to stone by a devout abbess. We teamed up with artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins and the digital makers at Gravitywell to create a beautiful map of England's myths, legends and folk tales.

This is wonderful what a great idea. KUDOS to the team or person who came up with this project. I don't know all of the legends from Phoenix, AZ, but my family was blessed with knowing a man who family moved here in the 1890's. So we have learned a lot from him and I was a Girl Scout leader for 15 yrs. And we did a lot with out girls looking at things before and after the 1890's. And I know they would have loved a Map like this one. Thanks for this video and all the lovely ones you produced.

Really good project, would have been nice to be able to zoom in and out instead of having to click on a pop-up map, but I suppose it would make it too slow if all the animations were running at the same time.
