I've got a magnetic charging cable and it has caused issues with the magnetic hall sensor in two of my phones. On my Meizu M2 Mini, the phone sometimes locks when I have the front cover folded back. This should only happen when I close the front cover and never happened before using the cable. The problem has continued, even though I no longer use the magnetic cable. It has also caused some issues with my Note 2.

This won't be an issue if you don't use smart flip cases, but if you do, I would advise against using magnetic cables.
