I’ve had good management and bad management. I have used the bad management as opportunities to gain depth in people skills and cv improvement.

One has to gain the understanding that a Bad manager is merely an opportunity to learn what NOT to do and how to develop a thick skin. One of the fastest ways though to annoy tf out of a bad manager is to not react to their harassment or negativity.
Is it a bit petty? Yes.
Is it satisfying, knowing you're rankling them? _Absolutely._
