We still have a lot of restrictions in Sweden, we don't ignore the covid threat. Not having a lockdown isn't the same thing as not do anything.

This is not over. Wait until it’s done and then we will see Sweden as the right approach.

Here you have a model that is not worse, but as shown far better than the extremely draconian, inhuman, dictatorial, tyrannical, and cynical measures in more than half of the world.

Sweden peaks with new cases as expected. We will get worse hit than neighboring countries due to lame restrictions. This video provides incorrect info

This is in line with expectations. In a country in which lockdown was never really imposed, it would be a shock if infection rates were to suddenly soar. Spikes would imply a confluence of factors disrupting the established order of how people lead their lives, including the onset of negligent hygiene, an influx of infected tourists, _SARS-CoV-2_ mutations etc..
Elsewhere in _Europe, _ opening up after strict lockdown is expected to result in a rise in infection rates within countries and across borders. The strong urge to restore normalcy in everyday social habits is clearly dominant as asymptomatic spreaders abound. Many countries are running headlong into scenarios where reintroduction of lockdown measures will be inevitable.
_Sweden_ implemented a management policy accepting casualties whereas lockdown countries went all-in on a bet that a viable vaccine would be quickly available to quell the second wave. If infection rates in _Sweden_ stabilise or even decline persistently going forward, Dr. _Tegnell's_ approach will be largely vindicated.

Can I ask you Mass media of USA why you was so negative in the start?

So far the only conclusion you can make is that lockdowns do not improve outcomes. If that was the case, the US, UK, Spain, Italy, and Belgium would have had distinctively better outcomes than Sweden, when in fact they have done worse. This does not take into account the negative impact that a lockdown has on the economy. Many, many small businesses in the US will never recover from the lockdown. Many, many people in the US will get evicted in a few months time because they have been unable to pay their rent. The US government lockdown response to Covid-19 has added $3.3 trillion dollars to the debt, and at least another $3 trillion dollars of debt-funded relief is to be expected. I suspect US debt will have surpassed $30 trillion when this is all over, and the US economy will be in a recession which means even more debt-fueled spending. Just for comparison, the US GDP was $21.43 trillion in 2019. If the American people think that Covid-19 is tough, just wait until the coming debt crisis and the ensuing chaos that will make the current riots and looting look like a picnic.

An insight. Sure. Overconfident???? National health agency have always said that a second wave can be here as well. Try to interview some that actually knows what they are talking about.

Now they have more cases than the surrounding countries. This video is not correct today.

Hi citizens of the world !

I'm proud to be Swedish - especially right now. And glad I am not Danish, for example. Or Spanish. Or French. Or American. And so on.

The first is that the authorities seem to believe that those who live in Sweden possess some kind of common sense. That hut goes home, so to speak.

Experts tell us to wash our hands, hold a two-meter space, not hug, not take care, preferably not be at work - yes, then we do so. Without the home defense standing outside the door and watching our actions and pretensions.

So there is mutual trust. People trust and obey advice and urges that seem reasonable, and the decisive level is that we do so. The defense need not be called in other than to build field hospitals and conduct sampling. Not to point at people with the automatic rifle. That is reason to be proud of being Swedish right now.

Our state of affairs. Decisions in the state sector are largely based on independent expert authorities. It is a great strength.

In Sweden Ministers are not allowed to put their sign in anything other than giving an annual so-called regulatory letter stating what they are mainly to do. If the minister is involved in more, it can be called a bad conduct and almost inevitably leads to departure. This is not the case in other countries where the state sector is completely politically controlled. It may lead to considerations other than the purely sensible ones.

Sincerely T the Swede.

Deadly? Seriously? Numbers of death are far less that in first wave even numbers of infection are much higher
