In this video from PASC18, Etienne Lyard from the University of Geneva, Switzerland presents: Handling and Processing Data from the Cherenkov Telescope Array.

"The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) will be the world's largest and most sensitive high-energy gamma-ray observatory. Composed of more than 100 telescopes of different sizes between 4 and 23 meters in diameter, it will operate from two separate sites in Chile and at the Canary Islands. It will generate up to 10PB of raw data per year that will be stored in a distributed archive. This talk will outline the current status, plans and challenges that we face to implement the analysis and data management pipeline of CTA.

We will describe the data flow structure of onsite DAQ to filtered steams for various physics scopes of IceCube and ANTARES and the plans for KM3NeT. The Data formats and data management
software will also be described as well as plans for making data public."
