Here I discuss Ancient Nubia and its significance in the Ancient World. I briefly describe its importance to Egypt and the relationship they shared. I also touch on Greek interest in Nubian culture and their origin.

I'm a real Nubia from northern Sudan . We had our own civilisations (Meroe, Kush, Nubatia) and they were all originated and mostly based in modern day Sudan (which is always intentionally ignored). Please don't forget that there are other countries and civilisations in Africa. And please stop speaking on our behalf because I never heard them so called Afrocentrists talking about our Arabized government recent plans to flood our lands & heritage.

I read somewhere that the Egyptians originally came from a place called Ta Neteru or Land of the gods and followed the Nile northward. Could you look into that?

ancient egyptians were genetically, linguistically and culturally unrelated to ancient nubians. the pyramids in Nubia were built in the 25th and 26th dynasty, almost 2000 years after the Great Pyramids of Giza

The more of these I watch the more I learn. The general consensus is that Egypt is somehow separate from the rest of africa, but the more I watch the more I realize its all just a part of the continent as any other region.
