Road Bike of the Year 2018 Winner | Giant TCR Advanced 2

Cycling Plus / BikeRadar announced the 2018 TCR Advanced 2 as their ‘bike of the year’, one of the industry’s most coveted bike awards. With 48 bikes tested, featuring 25 other brands and spread over 4 categories, the testing was as thorough as it’s ever been, with the TCR coming out as the top bike across all categories.

Featuring the same frame design as used by the pro riders of Team Sunweb, The TCR’s speed was immediately felt; “On the flat, you’re rapidly up to speed, and immediately feel how lively the bike is”.

Despite the TCR’s racing heritage, Cycling Plus noted that the bike is a “rare beast that will appeal to racier riders but won’t scare those who prefer more recreational riding”, making it ideal for most type of riders who are looking for all round performance in their bike.
