In some scenes and settings the entire screen is brighter with HGIG, in others it's brighter with DTM. I found DTM works better. HGIG blows out details in clouds and on bright surfaces no matter the paper white setting.

Played it on PS5 and Series X last night and I’d say on the whole it looks better on Series X. Bit sharper and less lighting/shadow artefacts in places. Shame because I’ve got all the DLC on the PS5 version 😐

A very good news !! 😁👍 I was waiting for a parch like this for Far Cry 5 to finally jump in, and they did it 5 years after The game is out… now I can believe in everything, everything is possible with video games !! 🤩🙏😂 60 fps with great HDR, perfect !! Thanks a lot for this video and The settings between 200 and 250 for paper white 😎👌 I think it’s going to look amazing on my S95B !

I heard about the update, bought the game on PS5, and immediately thought, "What about HDR? Hopefully GamingTech made a video about it".
And indeed, you did make a video - thank you very much!

I have commented on this in the past, but I might as well mention it here as well: I would really appreciate it if you could include some sort of HUD brightness analysis in your videos for those of us who are a bit paranoid about burn-in on OLED TVs. Especially if the game itself does not have a paper white setting for the HUD.

Don't get me wrong, I know burn-in is hard to get, and I've never had a problem with it myself on my C1 in 1.5 years, but it does make a difference whether a static element is displayed at 100 nits or 1000 nits over hundreds of hours.

Why can Ubisoft update loads of games with 4k and 60fps and it takes ROCKSTAR 8 years to update 1 game??

Our tv completely different but your destiny does good with mine too. I have Sony XBR900F 4K HDR. The new tv would be nice but the price for it here in America, oh my 😱
