WWII Veteran Returns Flag to Soldier’s Family

World War II veteran Marvin Strombo took a flag from a dead Japanese soldier in 1944 during the Battle of Saipan. Decades later, Strombo has returned the flag to the soldier’s family with the help of a non-profit group called the Obon Society. (Aug. 15)
