Hi this is JR I have translated the commentary from Kai into English and sent it to Juha. He is just too busy right now to add it to the video so a version with English subtitles will come later on. This version was released just so that you could actually see something after the preview had already been released. We did not want to leave the spectators hanging for too long.

The thing about commentators and language choices is that we have an open mic as long as the commentary is made well enough for Juha's standards and nobody else stepped up. So feel free to contact Juha if you can help with English commenting. We are grateful for all the help from Kai and CCDG but our American friends are busy right now. And Juha edited a ton of videos during his winter holiday so there was something to release. He wanted to clear his to do list prior to this season. His time will be increasingly directed to life outside of disc golf this year so it is good that he can tackle the filming of this season soon after filming instead of first needing to deal with the previous seasons. That way there is a higher chance of releasing stuff during the same season it is filmed.

I looked at remote subtitling of the videos but since Kai did not leave awkward silence there is a lot to type. That along with not finding good options meant that the first sentences blocked half of the picture. No joy so i stopped there. There is little sense in masking the action with subs. That meant that I was of no help just yet to Juha's schedule. If we can find controls and better options for remote subs I may be able to get the text in a way that does not kill the viewing pleasure totally.

With luck we may be able to get some English commeentary too but no promises. Getting even a Finnish commentator helps and especially since it is a guy who knows his stuff and is an interesting person standing both among the players and running a company manufacturing some great discs especially for windy conditions. Jokeri is IME the straightest out of the wind beating putters that just gets straighter when the wind picks up. And a very tacky one even in durable plastic. And super tacky in basic plastic. Laseri is the same for fairway drivers. Their drivers can take serious storms easily. I do not have the arm for their fast big boy drivers. I've played only a little for the past two years but before that when I could throw 400'+ they were still beefy hard fading discs.
