Eda is a true hero, for saving Luz from falling into the abyss of death in the castle of Belos and she is also sometimes tricky and mischievous with others, but the inhabitants of Bonesburg began to worry because she no longer considered her a criminal thanks to Luz during what happened the comformatory.

Eda is the type of person who makes all the right choices when it really matters on top of being overall amicable. That is why we instinctively recognize her as someone who is fundamentally good.
I suppose her warm color scheme helps too

Ya know, Lilith hasn't actually apologized for...well anything really: not for cursing Eda (though she share that she feels a tremendous amount of guilt), for the years she spent hunting down her sister based on false promises (regardless of her belief that those promises were sincere, Eda had a right to know why her sister seemed to suddenly hate her), or for holding hostage and then actively attempting to MURDER Luz ( to quote the girl herself : "SPIKES!?"), Lilith has not once said "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" in so many words. Granted, trying to save Eda and then sharing the curse is no small demonstration of love, an apology is very much owed to the residents of the Owl House.

While I do prefer Amphibia, I still enjoy The Owl House quite a bit, and Eda plays a big part in that (though Willow is my favorite character on the show).

Eda is the most realistic character in the show, and frankly the most relatable as an adult. The kind of adult we all wish we could be, though we have to be Lilith most of the time.
