Introduction to the Data Template and Data Journal in the RtReports Editor.

[00:15] Review Existing Data Template designed to bring in default Attributes for a Parent Event Frame and two Level of Child Event Frames.
[00:55] Browse through an existing Data Template. The Data Template defines the rules for retrieving data.
[01:54] Discuss how wildcards at the first level Child Event Frame map to the Referenced Element, while wildcards at the second level Child Event Frame maps to the Child Event Frame name.
[03:26] Test this report against an Event Frame to bring in default Attributes.
[04:13] Select ViewRefresh, or F5, to make sure the Data Journal refreshes after an Event Frame has been selected.
[04:25] Browse the Data Journal for some of the default Attributes of the selected Event Frame: Product, Recipe, Start Time, End Time, Duration.
[04:56] Browse the Data Journal for default Unit Batch information. Discuss how the Mixing* and Heater* Data Template entries result in 3 Unit Batches Journals in the Data Journal, corresponding to Mixing Unit 1, Mixing Unit 2, and Heater Unit 1.
[06:57] Build the Data Template together, starting from an empty Report Template.
[07:23] Restrict report to only be valid for Event Frames with a Product of Potion 1A.

[09:23] Add Unit Batch Template in the Data Journal with “Mixing*” to add information related to the first level Child Event Frames with Primary Referenced Elements Mixing Unit 1 and Mixing Unit 2.
[10:47] Add Unit Batch Template in the Data Journal with “Heater*” to add information related to the first level Child Event Frames with Primary Referenced Element Heater Unit 1.
[11:42] Add Subbatch Template in the Data Journal using “HElement*” to add information related to the second level Child Event Frames with names HElement 1 and HElement 2.
[12:59] Unit Classes for dissimilar naming conventions.
[13:20] Journal Actions will be used to bring in additional information beyond the default Attributes.
[13:56] Exporting the Data Template and Data Journal.
