Today I was able to donate laundry detergent to an animal shelter that was probably worth about $50 and I paid maybe $10-15. I love being able to help out other people simply by couponing. We have had a rash of local fires lately. Sadly, most of the families lost their homes and everything in it. People are quick to donate used clothing, shoes, pots and pans, furniture, etc., but these families also need personal items. I'm using the deals you share to create backpacks filled with soaps, toothbrushes, toothpastes, wipes, lady products, shampoos and conditioners, and lotions.

I was able to send a lot of items from my stockpile to the North Carolina mountains. Please continue to pray for these folks. Children there are slowly starting to return to school but some have no home and their emotions are so raw that they can’t funerary school.

Love that you are looking at supporting your local animal shelter for Christmas. One of the local shelters in my area was flooded due to Helene. They managed to rescue all of the animals, but the shelter was mostly destroyed. They have taken it down to bare bones and will be rebuilding from there. I hope there are a lot of people who will support them for Christmas this year.

When I get that 10%or 20% coupon on Thursday, I make sure to add it right away so I don’t forget. On Sunday or Monday depending on how busy my weekend is, I go grab one deal using the coupon and the next day that threshold coupon flash sale arrives in my email. I don’t use that percentage off right away on Thursday since you don’t get much time to use the threshold! That’s what works for me 😊
