No way to fix it unfortunately....had to return it to sprint and they gave me a new one. Switched to an iPhone as soon as my contract allowed.

Mine is doing that now. It's incredibly frustrating. Does it at random. I intend to fix it by returning it to T-Mobile. I thought it might be a virus, but I ran AVG, Norton, and a few others and they all say my phone is not infected, so I guess it must be possessed. Either way, I hope the Sony phone will be nice.
