Exploring the Zenobia - Diving the Top 10 wreck

Mini-documentary on what it is like to experience and explore the Zenobia wreck in Cyprus.

The Zenobia is on the top 10 of the worlds best shipwrecks for scuba-diving. The enormous shipwreck is located just outside Larnaca, Cyprus at about 42 meters. Visibility in the ocean surrounding the wreck is about 30 to 40 meters.

Zenobia is by far my favourite wreck dive. Dived it over 400 times now and it still excites me! Great footage!

15k dives done. Trim and Frog kick so poor - wow amazing 🙈 and at some point nearly 50 bars of gas - safety diving 😤

This sidemount diver is hard to watch. He needs to go take a sidemount course to get help with his trim and equipment setup.

How come “Zenobia expert” Csaba is telling a story about its sinking which is different than the official story? The official story is that there was a problem in the balast tanks which made it tip over? Nothing about a “truckdriver who wanted a demonstration how the autopilot system worked”.

Not sure who this Csaba guy I used to live and work in Cyprus years ago and have been lucky enough to dive Zenobia a few hundred times. I'm still in touch with friends from back then, who have been diving the wreck for the past 20 years, 3 or 4 times a week guiding customers, and neither do they. I've got to be honnest, this is poor content. A rubbish story about a truck driver that couldn't sleep If you want to look into it more, the facts are there, it was an insurance fraud, this information was free 25yrs ago. My 2nd complaint Your video didn't even begin to show the true size/scale of Zenobia or the safe penertration dives that are available to the less experiencced diver or the lenghtly penertration dives that the advanced technical diver can enjoy.
