Day 2: PLEASE I want to see him roast the Skyraider, because we all know the Skyraider will absolutely slander him, the fact that the sidewinder was even tested on the Skyraider and the only reason it went out of service is because there wasn’t enough room for it’s fuel on the carrier since there was only room for jet fuel. My favorite cargo plane had a baby. I saw a picture of it before, but seeing the Raptor take back everything he said was adorable too. x3

I watched a CC-177, which is a C-17 with a maple leaf painted on it, takeoff from Inuvik runway 06. I didn't measure the takeoff roll or anything, but it sure didn't seem like it was much past Taxiway A, and that's 900 feet. Here's a fun fact: the '177' in CC-177 is the number of lumps of gravel the it kicks up on to the taxiway when it moves out. The airport operator asked that they taxi using only their inboard engines to avoid spraying gravel up on to the taxiways and aprons, but the Globemaster does not care.

The C-17 has a 3000 foot landing distance, the C17 IS a STOL plane despite weighing pounds. It has a shorter landing length than the C-130 does.
