Hello! I'm from Taiwan and obtained my BA in Diplomacy (IR) this Jan. I'm recently accepted to an LLM in Legal Studies and an MSc in International Relations with a focus on EU studies. I'm more incline to choosing the former because as known to the world, we Taiwanese don't really have much space in the International society and studying further in IR isn't necessary, career wise. However, neither did I perform really well in any course in the field of international law (public International law, maritime law, EU law, human rights law, etc), nor am I interested in it. For me, it is quite dull compared to political science... My question is: should I pursue in this area that would be beneficial to my future career path, or should I study something really ignites my interest but is less helpful? thank you.

Hello thank you so much for this video because I have always wanted to be an international lawyer but I really don't know how to go about it and now I am thinking of getting a master's degree after completing my undergraduate program as I am in my final year. Please I would like to talk more in length with you if you don't mind. Thanks in anticipation of a response

Hello, I'm from the U.S and I just graduated with my bachelor's degree in criminal justice, however later in my studies I discovered about business law and then I later discovered international business law and I really want to be an international business lawyer and I'm currently focusing on the admissions test for law school. Also after watching this video, I have a couple of questions about this career in international business law. My questions are:

If you're sent abroad to a foreign country to work for a law firm that is either a foreign branch or partner of an American law firm or the law firm of your native country, what type of work you do while staying in that country?

Do you do arbitration?

Do you work with the attorneys of that foreign country on the laws of your native country or the laws of the foreign country that you are staying in?

Do you have to specialize in the laws of the country that you're sent to?

Or do you just give legal advice on the laws of your native country?

I'm asking because I really want to do international law and I want to know how it works. If anyone can give me any answer, then that would be great and thank you very much.
