ANTONOV An124 Ukraine (AN-124 An-124-100) London Stansted Airport Takeoff to Paris UR-82027 Multi Camera Timelapse Overhead Giant Jet Departing Stansted Airport Runway 22 (STN) Antonov 124 | An-124 | Smaller brother of Antonov 225 Mirya
The giant aircraft departed on the morning of 4 April 2017 to Chalons Vatry, Paris, France. This video features the aircraft pushback and a timelapse as the tug and towbar are removed and stowed and the rear cargo door closed. I have also used a multi-camera technique to catch the taxi and departure from two angles.
The aircraft requires around 4 minutes on the active runway to warm up; during which I distinctly hear some different noises from the engines. As the aircraft thunders down the runway, I cut to another angle of the aircraft passing directly overhead; the first time I have filmed the Antonov from this angle.
