The colour science on the phones seems to be all over the place. Some times the V40 over-yellows everything, other times it's the "Pro" that does it. Reminds me of the current existing nightmare on Samsung phones.

Very, very close between the two. Good to see good cameras come to the budget range, but I'm waiting for the day when you get Leica lenses on phones from €300 up.

Since you have seen both, the vivo v40 pro and the one plus 12 camera, which one is better out of the two? I'm torn between the one plus 12 and the vivo v40 pro as my next smartphone. both are about the same price and camera experience is an important factor in my smartphone usage

I'm on the lookout for a new phone that is capable of recording horses that move around fast, and problems I've been experiencing with my previous phones is that the focus and exposure seem to be "working overtime" so all depending on where I point the phone, the brightness, focus, and exposure makes the quality of the image really bad... Actually one of the "best" phones that did not tend to make all colours become a mess was my old Sony Xperia Compact which I used years ago, but it was just not good enough to make the imagery crystal clear/sharp as it wasn't able to record videos with a high resolution and FPS, such as current phones can.

But I'll attach a link to one of my older videos and you'll be able to see what I mean (hopefully)
But I'm thinking about either one of the latest Nubia Ultra phones, the Z60S Pro, but also been considering the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, the Realme 12 Pro +, the OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus 12, and even the much older Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

Which one would you recommend?

The Pro has issues with green-magenta WB, with it being too green most of the time but too magenta sometimes. Same issue with V27 and V29 (which I have). I was hoping they fixed it, disappointed they didn't especially in the pro model. The vanilla is better in terms of WB.
