I love my JEPQ and SCHG 40/60 combo!!! I’m 60. Will probably flip the allocation when I’m fully retired at 65. Thanks for another awesome vídeo amigo.

2 weeks ago, I sold all my technology stocks except Intel and Nvidia. I took all that money and bought JEPQ. I haven't regretted it yet. I like the technology play, covered call play with them doing the work, and the monthly dividend payouts.

I just broke $7500 in JEPQ. I dumped $3500 in twice and added $250 in between. I am ready for the snowball effect. Contributing $250 a week untill retirement. Hopefully in 10 years, or less!

started investing in JEPQ in May 2023, and between the dividends, plus the appreciation my ROI is 20.6%. Combine this with SCHD, and you wont go wrong.

Most of my retirement portfolio is in Jepi and Jepq with a bit of Fepi. Gotta admit that I sometimes write covered calls on a portion of these positions to push the yield even a bit more. Called away, I write puts to buy it back. Thanks for the great advice!

Thanks Jerry. You are changing lives fir those that listen.
Just one question...
Is Berkshire a company or a business? Oh, and while your at it, is light a partical or a wave? Lol

Jerry, can you do a deep dive on DIVO and QDVO as well, and consider comparing them to JEPI/JEPQ? Both DIVO/QDVO run covered call strategies.

Taxed as ordinary income so if you are in a tax bracket take that into account. SCHD have qualified dividends. Mixture of both might be best. Gotta have long term time though for schd.

All the JEPQ reviews talk about the high expense ratio and tax burden. I get it. That said... could those cons/risk be considered part of "the cost of doing business"?

Like if I owned real estate, the cost of doing business could be broken appliances, legal fees, general maintenance of the property like a new roof, HOA fees, insurance, taxes, as well as the burden of possible bad tenants.

Of course its not apples to apples, but I'm thinking $200k into JEPQ versus $200 into real estate is a lot less of a head ache.

Note: I have 70% into VTI, 20% into SCHD, and several other dividend stocks that have been compounding already for a decade. So now at 50 yo, I'm looking for more dividend income while the "other seeds" grow and compound.

Idk why more people don’t do this. Just put in a small 6 figure amount, live in an inexpensive city in SEAsia, own cheap home (optional but helps to lock everything in), and retire decades early.

Thanks Jerry. What is your opinion, is JEPQ model sustainable in the long run?

DRIP function on. When I retire, borrow via securities backed line of credit. Drip function off and use it to pay down the loan. Never sell.

Thanks for the video and I’m extremely interested. Can you briefly tell me the down side to investing in JEPQ? Or maybe your next video be the downside??
Thanks much

I have SCHD in my Roth, and am adding JEPQ this Friday, @ $150 per week.

My retirement account has gone down by 13.7% in the past year due to rebalancing I did out of fear uncertainty and doubt. What are best alternatives to take in other to secure a financially free retirement and achieve ultimate peace? I don’t want to fail after 42 years of working hard.

Jerry, hypothetical Roth IRA: 25% SCHD, 25%, QQQ, 25% SPY, and then either 25% in VGT or JEPQ. 15-20 year time horizon. Which would you pick?
