For question 3, I just multiplied 500 by 1, 000
500(1, 000)
=500, 000

In problem 2, when finding the LCD, why did 1/4 become 4/4? I thought you had to multiply the top and bottom by the same #.

This is just basic alg and logic I am not sure will this help anyone. If you are struggling with this then I highly suggest you to learn basic alg first. Trust me it's not that hard and you can accomplish a lot just in few weeks

In his first explanation, c and d, the word form of the equation, are the same. So by that logic he should have explained how to choose the best answer between c and d, n and why
