Sign language should be taught to all children.

Sounds like a great idea that should have happened decades ago. And I agree with Dave Seaward, Sign Language should be taught to everyone starting at the earliest stage of education. Not only because it expands the lives of the Hearing and the Deaf, but because one never knows when they might also suffering hearing loss and need to still communicate. If a country has a coordinating Sign Langauge, it should absolutely be taught side-by-side with the spoken language.

It would be great if GB news had subtitles.

Becoming deaf from age 20 around 30 years ago and waiting for a cochlear implant at present, I didn’t have access to learning sign language in the area that I live I’m also not part of the deaf community ( not knowing any other deaf person) what I would like to see is a law to make subtitles on TV compulsory (cc) there are many sky, TV or streaming services that don’t have them embedded and although I pay the same fees as everyone else can’t access all the programmes I’d like for instance History channel, discovery, blaze and SciFi are just a few. Its discriminatory and very frustrating.

Eamon and Isobel should swap clothes or at least underwear, him wearing her stockings and suspenders under his suit
