If you had read the manual, you would know that only the scrapper should be used to remove old paint after heating.
The attachment on 4:42 is only for better surface heat distribution, not for scrapping - as the manual strictly mentions.

Thanks for the review. I got one today for 9.99 euro in Lidl Ireland. Hope it works to remove carpet glue from floorboards. ☘☘☘
