Hi everyone! In the last video we completed our Cypress setup by adding the Cypress E2E tests to our GitHub Actions CI pipeline. In this video, we tackle the major task of persisting our tasks to a durable storage. We start with persisting them to the localStorage of the browser, and focus on creating code that is easy to extend later on to persist tasks via network calls to backend APIs.
This video is part of a series where we are organically developing a productivity app with React and TypeScript. We will focus on implementing Agile and XP principles in our series, which means we will focus on TDD, continuous delivery, feature flags, and a lot of other cool stuff that we have to take care of to have our app deployed to production as quickly and as often as possible.
