A few years ago I dated a disfellowshipped guy who wanted me to study to become a JW and who tried to convince me that I could ask any question that I wanted without any pushback. I didn't believe him and started doing some research about this religion and am so glad that I didn't fall for the Ole Okey doke.

Aloha 🌺 I’ve been disfellowshipped for 29 years - I asked to be without committing any “crime” per se —- just needed space and distance from my JW family at the time. About two years ago my JW Grama passed - she reached out to me about a year before she died and I was able to really ask her some questions about family secrets and is she scared of death etc. my mom and aunt were shocked that the queen bee JW matriarch reached out to me - so they invited me to my Grama’s memorial thru zoom. After my mom has stayed in contact with me asking me questions about how I live and think/feel for myself. I am honest yet leave a lot of space for her to process our discussions. She is realizing I’m not apostate. I’m not trying to make her shameful or stupid for choosing to be a JW - and she knows to respect my beliefs too and not preach to me. I’m being a living example of forgiveness, critical thinker, responsible for my life, I do not judge or gossip (and stop her if she goes there..) and I am like Jesus in that I am allowing the energy of unconditional love to stream thru me. It’s been very healing to shine light on the cult for my mom using words she can identify with until we can strategically move onto bigger and better words ❤ I appreciate coming across different ExJWs stories and intentional sharing. Mahalo ✨ Oh! The best part is I told my mom I actually found Paradise on Earth and moved to Kaua’i 7 years ago! Now for her to get over her flying over the shark infested ocean fear and come see for herself! 🏝️🌺🔆

Yes thankyou in for twenty years a pimo during lockdown now out from 3 Feb my letter of leaving as babtised sister. they wanted me at khall for meeting an inquiry they said I had help from grownup daughters .coming up for memorial season a bit lost to be honest.your channel helps a lot as I'm using my intellect not being spoon fed doctrine new light all the time.I really really bought into it because they were so believable then I'm shunned in my small village.

When I was a bible student with JW'S I started to ask hard questions before getting baptized. So I got them to my place and asked to send an elder who is prepared to answer any question. Once I started to ask critical questions, they didn't know how to defend the organization and told me that I had take Satan's side...that just opened my eyes wide opened and dec8ded to ditched them all. Glad I didn't baptized, otherwise my JW family wouldn't talk to me right now. But, I won! Haha😅

In this day and age, watchtower don't mean much anymore. God has raised up servants who are so much more capable.
Watchtower is kindergarten, that's why they forbid witnesses not to research, talk or listen to anyone else other than them. Watchtower is running scared.
