Deirdre is not stating the obvious. Those who are staying at resorts under a Thomas Cook package deal may struggle as the hotelier may charge them directly at this point and require payment directly from the guest. Not easy to relax when you have paid an insolvent company.

Yep beware as I found out today. a friend had pre booked a holiday with Thomas cook and has had to re- book and cheepest --"Jet2" has hiked the price 2/3 fold.. The rest are just taking the piss.
