I don’t like that this is considered a deliberate play on the ball by the defender thus negating the offside. The defender had almost no time to react yet invariably kicked it into an area where the offside attacker could directly gain an advantage.

I'm more concerned with the blatant foul by yellow behind half-way that should have negated the whole play. Flying into someone's back and taking them out is an obvious foul. Why it wasn't called...
