This is actually the first slipknot album I have ever waited for, and I can understandably feel the hype. I didn’t understand it as I wasn’t a regular listener before I listened to The Gray Chapter, and I listened to that like 5 months after release. Can’t wait!!!

I think it’s crazy he took out the 81 and 60 from his original white telecaster for his new pickups. You’d think he would keep it original with the way he’s always said that guitar is perfect. But I guess he can always put them back in.

My first impression of their guitar sound for the new stuff was like “hey, it’s like moving back to Vol.3 and I like it, cause I don’t like the stuff that has been after it, latest 2 albums”. Vol.3 sound is my personal slipknot favorite I like to hear from them🤘

I checked out the Bogner Uberschall pedal at a local shop out of curiosity. I connected it into the FX return of a Boss Katana 100 with an Boss GE7 EQ pedal for boost in front of the Uberschall, by doing an bell curve setting level up to 7 to 8 on the EQ pedal and it sounded great all together. Bogner gain was at 2 o'clock. I think people are sleeping on the Uberschall pedal because it is not as high gain as other metal pedals but with a boost it worked IMO. It's better to stack to gain the tone you want then starting with someone that is too much.
