Their live performances are so captivating. The way they make the tiniest mistakes hitting certain notes with the string instruments, the way that some of the notes that are sung are so high that they are hard to hit because of the tension of the live performance, it´s all so humanizing and it´s honestly one of the few musical experiences that I can definitely say that I enjoy hearing more played live compared to a perfected studio recording.

Thank the gods for that Dark Souls trailer for introducing me to Agnes and the incredible musicians she plays with. You are such an inspiration for anyone who´s aspiring to create music that sounds so personal.

Ps. What a twist it was that the chorus on this one didn´t have the pitch shifter effect, as much as I appreciate the weirdness of it, I liked hearing this version so much more as I´d always been curious about how the melody worked out in her original octave!
