Oklahoma offers much more than just tornados and sports; its done most of the heavy lifting in establishing itself as an agricultural, precision manufacturing, and energy state. All that to say, Oklahoma is not only a leader in the US but globally as well.

I'm an Oklahoman working in the petrochemical industry. I absolutely agree with your assessment, I think Oklahoma has the potential to be a manufacturing and industrial powerhouse based upon what we already do well. If we can update our transportation infrastructure I believe we have a great outlook for the foreseeable future.

Hey Peter - I live in Oklahoma City. LOVE your channel - WELCOME! Were you aware of the Port of Catoosa? It's the largest inland port in the USA and it exists in Catoosa Oklahoma! Now it's not a deep water port, unfortunately, but it is able to ship around the world or even to deep water ports that then can go international. It's also located up near Tulsa, one of the main population hubs in OK. Keep up the great work.

I'm surprised you didn't mention natural gas as a feed stock in OK. Just NW of you in a small town called Enid, there is a large fertilizer plant. I worked there for over six years as they expanded into one of the largest urea producers in the world. OK has significant potential in helping the country produce more food.

A state by state report would be cool.

Speaking of transportation of bulk goods: Peter, you forgot to even mention the actual inland Seaport outside of Tulsa (the Port of Catoosa) which connects to the Mississippi and ultimately the Gulf of Mexico

As a damn Texan, I enjoyed this video. We love people of Oklahoma. A better economic connection between us is much better than New Mexico or others. Great work ethic and accountable people from Oak!

Great video - as far as transportation in OK, one thing worth mentioning is the Port of Catoosa. There is barge access all the way from the gulf of Mexico to Tulsa via that port.
