I recently found a fun combo with The One Ring completely on accident. Its basically the same as most One Ring combos. Slobad, Iron Goblin sacrifices the one ring, adding 4 red mana. Tap emry, targeting one ring, using the 4 red to cast it again. Now, this only results in prof everything every rotation, but add Mirran Spy and something else like that into the combo and it results in infinite card draw and infinite artifact LTBs and ETBs.

Paradox Engine was a casual targeted ban due to the rube-goldberg type chains that would happen (my understanding, never actually played while it was legal).

The One Ring shouldn't be banned.

Flash was degenerate, due to being instant speed.

The One Ring makes the game faster.
Paradox Engine makes 1 turn 20 minutes long.
Can't compare the two, even if the ring needs a ban

I didn't know Paradox Engine was banned, I use it currently in my historic deck.

You're missing the major Point here. Paradox engine is a card that facilitates multiple combos that aren't supposed to be when cards are already on the field. The One Ring help to draw cards which could be bad or could be good it's a Gamble there is no gambling with Paradox engine. Plus the life loss sucks if you have no way to clear it after 3 or 4

Paradox engine, rofellos, and prophet I think can all be set free especially rofellos at this point he’s no worse then some other commanders

The only commander card I can think of that should be banned is dockside and that's mostly because it does exactly what primeval did just better.

Oh yeah what a great idea, unban engine only to make the One Ring even more busted!!! Who cares about burden counters when we can just draw our whole deck the same turn its cast! .... y'all didn't consider that. The Ring is good, but i dont think it needs a ban, it would though if the Engine was unbanned.

I think paradox engine was mostly banned because it made turns take a long time. The one ring doesn't make turns take a super long time. I personally think paradox engine shouldn't have been banned.

Remove the stigma behind the card and you get effects that are based on other cards. Stop complaining.
