My approach to all the streaming services is to subscribe to one at a time. I watch all the stuff that seems interesting over, let's say 3 months, then I cancel the subscription and go to the next one I'm interested in. (bonus points if the first month is free!) Wash and repeat.

Zone of Interest is the most powerful film I've seen in decades. And yes, the soundscape is absolutely amazing.

It seems to me - that _Lucky_ was made as a tribute to Harry Dean Stanton by people who respected him. He's been in all kinds of movies as a supporting actor and I guess they just wanted to give him a Starring Role in something.

It is a touching film.

Thanks for this. I whittled my streaming down to Max and Netflix, but each bury SO many different films that it’s almost impossible to find anything good that I haven’t already seen. I’m off to watch your videos about newly added Netflix and Prime movies now.

I've seen a few of these and will take your recommendations on the rest.
Also, the Zone of Interest is unlike any movie I've ever seen and definitely unlike any movie I've ever heard.
Either headphones or a nice home theater system is absolutely necessary for it.
I think it should probably be number 1 on your list, but the other films above it are pretty awesome.

You are correct! Zone of background sounds you hear....my God! That makes the movie. And how the family goes about life as if barking dogs, screams, and gunshots are the norm. Crazy! And I used a portable Bose speaker.

Speaking of Peter Berg, I've never heard you mention the Kingdom from 2007. That movie made me sick to my stomach at points. Solid wartime movie.

Have you see The Jacket (2005)? Your list reminded me of that movie, which I need to rewatch. One of my favorite movies.

Bullet Head, is one of my all-time favs. For me, it's one of those "perfect" movies. There are no wasted scenes, it just works and flies by supper fast because it's so good. Saw it on Max and watched it again recently.

Deepwater Horizon is also a fantastic movie. I bought it recently for streaming so I could watch it again and immediately it shows up on Max. That happens all the time for me.

The first two Infernal Affairs movies are great and the third one is good, but it's a little confusing. The characters arcs are really interesting.

Missed The Zone of Interest when it was here in theaters and wasn’t widely interested but based on the recommendation of using headphones, I’m going to watch it. Deepwater Horizon sounds and looks great! And Infernal Affairs is also going on the list.
