Rook is elephant.
It has been designed to look like a tower in modern chess.

The Rook in chess used to be a chariot. A Rook is someone that Rides the chariot... so everything in Chess is depicting a loving thing.

The reason the Rook looks like a Tower is cause European Warfare couldn't really use Chariots in Warfare. The closest thing was a Seige Tower thats mass could ignore the boggy terrain in travel compared to a chariot. Which would still be driven by a Rook which was responsible for moving the Seige Tower... sorry to state your wrong but that is genuinely who a Rook is... the name to Bigger Crows as Rooks is because that family of bird has a habit of living with their relatives. The Rook tend to lead the flocks of murders.

"He didn't know if he was good or evil"

He clearly knew what he was doing when he picked up Mjolnir. He was minimum "worthy".

Somebody grabbing a pen "It means that he dreams of having his own rocketship, when he puts on table, it means that his dreams are over". Or maybe is that he's just playing chess...

Rook means an elephant in chess but yes we can understand it as a metaphor of something non-living!

Rook is also a name for a type of crow... which is a living thing.
