Let's Paint Some Stowage! And Other Finishing Touches... Panzer II Restoration - Part 3 (Final)

My friends, tonight we're painting all the carried stowage on this model - tent rolls, tarps, crates etc. We're also going to conclude this project with some extra weathering techniques such as rust tones over chipping, mud effects, weathering on the tracks, fuel stains, polished metal effects, the whole nine. This model will also receive a scenic base, but that's a story for another video!

Enjoying this type of content? Well, if you're new here, then don't be shy to subscribe and maybe even turn on notifications because I keep posting stuff like this every week!

Disclaimer: Most of the weathering products I use in my videos such as Ammo by Mig Jimenez, AK-Interactive, Wilder and VMS were sent to me for free, but with no obligations to promote them. I received a lot of them a long time ago, even before I started this channel. VMS is also one of my Patreon supporters. Being independent from big and exclusive sponsorship deals and showing you a wide variety of different brands and products was one of the founding ideas of this channel and I will always stand by this.

One small element I really appreciated . . . the white bowls in your stowage. They look incredibly interesting and ultra-authentic!

That first tarp turned out fabulous! Love the different shading techniques. All the stowage looked so good...all the little details. 😎

I think those yellow stripes on the old version were quite interesting, of course this restored version is superior. Awesome video as always.

Your love for tarps is very evident on/in this restoration.

Love your stuff, Night Shift. Outstanding work as always. I have the answer to your observation about bright silver weld lines and why they didn't plate was welded with stainless steel. Ordinary steel welds would crack as they cooled. For some reason, stainless steel does not crack when used to weld armour plate.
Keep up the good work.

Fantastic work! The colour contrast on the stowage is nice, between the different warm greens, the white plates and grey jerrycans! Over all fantastic job once again!
