Interesting fact, when I was 19 (precisely 13 days before this video was released on YouTube) I was given drugs by a surfer friend that I was assured was ecstasy, turns out it was something else entirely (a very dangerous psychoactive compound) that turned me into an actual zombie. Biting people, writhing around in the dirt, convulsing. Had to be rushed to hospital and nearly went into cardiac arrest.

I’ve only actually realised in 2023, despite knowing the song for years that the lyrics, video, title, and timing are eerie to say the least.

I’ve related to a lot of Krule’s music before but this realisation is pretty next level.
