I wish there was more gameplay footage!

I have some notes about the current version:

* The gameplay is confusing -- figuring out how to get past the red walls in the tutorial was a chore and I even got softlocked in the first attempt because I killed an enemy in a way that was not what the prompt was asking for, which caused the prompt to ignore me, forcing me to quit and restart.

* I find the controls to be unpalatable -- Specifically, I find the equip/item system to be overdesigned and the LT/RT weapons to be unpleasant to use. It would be so much simpler to just use a "highlight box" controlled by the d-pad like every other game than to use the current drag-n-drop system--mouse (and mouse-like RS) controls are obnoxious by default, so I don't understand why you would design the equip/item system like that. Innovation is nice and all, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

Should I bother trying the game again when it's out of early access? Or do you not think that these things might change/become significantly more polished by then? Maybe you should release a demo with the final game.
