Could this issue be a HUGE Problem with Beyblade X? It looks like they may have issues with denting and even BREAKING... But is it that bad?

Honestly, given how fast these beyblades move in the battles I've seen so far, I'm not really surprised that the beyblades are getting messed up.

...at some point any material reaches their mechanical limit. Problem with Beyblade is that they have to be cheap, easy to manufacture and durable. You can't have it all, so some compromise has to be made. If they were to make beyblades more durable that would certainly reflect in the final price...:/

Not worried about the metal denting as aggressive as the shapes are. Only one full break so far from everyone who has gotten the beyblades.

I would keep in mind, a lot of the people doing battles with these beys are not doing it against other Beyblade X beys. Some people have been doing battles against MFB beys, which are way heavier, and more jagged, and will cause a ton of damage to these beys.

Oh god. Not the Gingka jar O-O.
Also, they mentioned trading card games in that list which sounds pretty wild to me. I kinda want to see what they cook up for that.

Thanks for bringing this issue to light. This does seem like a pretty bad quality issue. Hopefully TT will be able to fix this as the new gen goes on.

We all know beyblades wear but when they wear down to the point it’s unusable for casual and competitive play in a short amount of time at that point it becomes a waste of time and money especially with how expensive it gets and we got inflation going on

The reason for this damage of the ratchet is because of people using metal fight beys

I think there's a good side to the breakages. With some beyblades breaking, Takara Tomy can work on fixing the problems before the actual release of the beys
Also for the article, did you notice the Takara Tomy logo in the corner of one of the pictures on the site that shows the anime renders of the characters? I feel like that tells us that Takara Tomy will be in charge of this, but I understand your choice to not be 100% on it.

Is anyone surprised about this when they’re going as fast and hitting as hard as they do?

It’s part and parcel, things break and wear down with use. Also many of these issues are arising because the new Beys are being put up against MF Beys that are much heavier.

I'd imagine that TT is trying to get back into a metal fight production mindset. Metal Fight had really durable plastic and metal, yet they weren't immune to chipping/breaking. But I'd blame the parts for their breakage, since I often see unsupported/hollow pieces get snapped more than a filled in part (4d metal parts, contact points on burst beys, etc.)

Maybe there's a new composition for the metal and/or plastic.

Why did you have to do my boi gingka like that? XD

I’ve also noticed that when you fight c beyblade a they leave tiny “metal dust” particles that can be seen on the stadium. These are a hazard for our respiratory systems.

Remember those white LEGO gears with its firmly rotating hole-part? I think this mechanic would rescue the metal/plastic durability during rough battles, when the blade, being a separated part, firmly rotates a bit to absorb overpowered hits.

Body pillow perhaps of gingka or medoka or even ryuga i cant wait see if they gonna make spin steal bey

Probably not a flaw in the quality of materials, but rather the design and function of the Beys due to the High Velocity Impacts

if someone decides to make a life size X stadium then the hard impact will probably destroy a bey in one shot.

I was expecting the gear part of the bit to take the most damage from always grinding on the edge.

They def need to make sure there is as little plastic exposed as possible near the contact points

It might have to do with the recoil cuz those high speeds are probably part of the problem that or they need to switch the plastic for some rubber
