In a way the misses in 2014 final helped for retained Messi's hunger and fortune was on Argentina's side this be a World cup winner, fortune/luck has to be there....Imagine Argentina winning it in 2014, Messi would probably have retired or lost could have managed quarter finals at the most in combination of a world cup win and a runner up medal is better than a world cup win with quarter final fans can brag about playing two finals in last three attempts when none of the other south american teams managed to make final since 2006....Messi also finishes with two golden balls and loads of other WC

I feel why the 2012 UCL final win for Chelsea was so special is like there was so many what if moments that all went in Chelsea favour. As a Chelsea fan 2012 and 2021 both felt just as good but 2012 we where in so many moments where it shouldn’t have gone to us. 2021 we was 100% underdogs but every thing was pretty straight forward. There was no comebacks or penalty saves.
