PHO Learning Exchange: Leveraging Technology to Support Population Mental Health

Abstract: This session will provide an overview of the current context of providing mental health support through digital health delivery. The presenters will discuss and introduce population digital mental health tools and how to evaluate and implement digital tools into mental health clinical practice; both through an organizational and individual lens.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Define digital mental health as it relates to/intersects with public health.
• Understand the benefits and challenges in accessing or using digital mental health tools/data from a population intervention/surveillance perspective.
• Strategize methods that support successful use and adoption of digital mental health tools to target/support improvements to population and public health.
• Apply digital health frameworks, resources and guides into current public health practice.
