Florida is anything but friendly. You go to the Bronx, NY and ppl are more friendly. Believe me.

Everyone is moving to Tennessee. He's one of a myriad of people who recommend that state. Once everyone moves there, paves it over with housing and commercial development like FL, they'll be complaining about it too. I can see it now...

Covid ruined Florida!! Remote work allowed high sallaried employees from the Northeast to move here. Now home prices are inflated, insurance prices, which stayed reasonable in Florida for the past 30 year increased four times.
Unfortunately, many native Floridians have been priced out.

Everyone wanted to move to Florida because it was so nice. Too many people moved in and changed it forever. Thats what happens to Paradise with overpopulation.

Traffic is terrible everywhere. 'Rush hour' runs from 8am until 8pm.

We moved to SW Florida in 1982. It wasn't bad as far as people and traffic. But it grew so fast. We left in 2006. Moved back to the Midwest. Glad we left when we did. Never really liked it there anyway.

Everyone was scamming the insurance for new roofs and now they have to pay the price.

Been living in Florida for 43 years. Will be retiring in two years and will be moving back up north. South Florida is way over valued.

You are spot on about all points. 1 more can be added: rudeness. Everyone looks down their nose at you, honks horns all day and people drive like maniacs. I live in Orlando and the drive to any beach is so stressful that i don't even go, and people on the beach are rude and too close. I'm probably going to move somewhere back to Tennessee
Moved here to get away from memphis crime. Memphis is horrible. Don't recommend it.

@exploringwithjimmyb. You're not complaining, you're stating facts. We have an inherited condo in the Boca Raton area and its very crowded there as well, we hardly ever go there. We must sell it now and stay in New England do to a devastating illness my spouse was given. It's bittersweet, the times we were in Southeast Florida have been much of what you've spoken of, lots of impatient people, traffic, etc. A big part of me loves Florida though in the winter. God bless

Do not move to Fla. Its too hot, too expensive, too many people, too many bugs and snakes and gators, Home Insurance is too high, Houses are too high, Too many old farts, Taxes have gone way up. Too many visitors in the Winter. You cant go anywhere because of the traffic. Please do not move to Fla You will regret it. Thanks.

Wages weren't that good many years ago. My husband went into business for himself. That's the only reason we made a decent living.
