I still don't know if that should've counted. The play is allowed to continue if the whistle hasn't been blown but it should've gone once the puck was under Anderson's glove. On the contrary, Maroon's stick was under his glove, so he can still snatch the puck away. I'm thoroughly confused up to rn.

It almost looks like he covered the blade of the stick along with the puck and it came out with the stick.

The only thing that kinda makes it hard to call is that he also covered the blade of the stick. To me it's a good goal because he didn't have possession of the puck or else goalies would be going around covering pucks while its still on peoples sticks and expecting a whistle.

Same thing happened in Montreal's game last Tuesday and it was called off like it should, seen like 3 terrible calls by ref through NFL and NHL just today.

k but u cant just go screaming at the ref you gotta calmly skate up and say hey i think i had that one help me out here

not much different then the goal against the bruins when Halak had the puck under his skate against the flames, the puck was still loose. He should of covered the puck without Maroons stick.

I remember I scored a goal like this in Atoms. The goalie covered my stick with the puck on it, so his glove was above the puck and not on the ice so I slid my stick out and knocked the puck in the net.

Terri-bull call. I don't even like the Sens, in fact I almost hate them, but

Maroon had his stick on the puck while Anderson puts his glove over the puck and the stick. Its a good goal.

What it comes down to is this, by rule, Maroon had possession of the puck (the puck was on his stick and he was directing it) Anderson put his glove down over both the puck and Maroon’s stick but he didn’t have the puck. It’s a good goal. As a goalie, I hate it when that happens and yes it’s happened to me too, but Maroon had possession of the puck.

So now you can jam the puck out from underneath the goalies gloves and the refs can't overturn Absolute bs right there

Whistle is suppose to go if the ref loses sight of the puck. Here he obviously couldn't see the puck under the glove, it's a bad call to let that stand.

He covered the stick as well. Can't blow a play dead immediately if the stick is covered too. Not to mention the ref is to Anderson's back. How in the world is he supposed to blow that dead when he can't see what happening with the puck. He probably thought it was lose because people kept scrumming for it

Bryan Murray would have been on the phone with the NHL after that one. They’re supposed to whistle it if they lose sight of the puck. RIP

For anyone that thinks this was goalie interference is not aware of what it is. That was clean. Anderson covered his stick too. Patrick did nothing wrong. Just bad luck!

He has a right to be mad. But good on the blues for playing until the whistle. This is how you need to play to win.

So did Boro start a fight and get KO’d as usual in this game?

Bad positioning on the reffs part. You can't see the play from way back there. How many times do you see a fast whistle cus the reff in deep can't see the puck.

That's a good goal. He covered it with his puck and the stick. He played the puck out of the glove. The refs fault for not blowing down the play.
