Pak plot to make PoK its fifth province foiled; Islamabad withdraws proposal after protests

Pakistan has withdrawn its 15th Constitutional Amendment bill which talked of giving provincial status to PoK. The bill which Islamabad said envisaged establishment of a separate election commission for local bodies was tabled on August 13, 2022. Following this, residents in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir erupted in protest as it was seen as a bid to divest PoK of its special status. There was a huge outcry in the region against Pakistan govt. Residents have called out Islamabad's policies for undermining the identity of the people and exploiting the natural resources of the region.

The problem is that Pakistani leaders doesn't really have the foresight which is needed to take such political acts.
When India removed 370 and 35a, Pakistan tried to pacify China by declaring that POK will be it's 5th province but didn't asked or tried to know what will be the repercussions.
Bhai, Indian govt is sole decision maker in India but In Pakistan everyone knows tha Pakistani govt seeks Army generals nod for any and every political decision to be made.

There are three types of Kashmir, PoK, CoK and the so called IoK. In IoK, people raise their national flag while people in PoK burn their national flag. Situation of CoK is still unknown 😁
