What is a fraud alert?
One can place a fraud alert on their credit report because of two main reasons; you have been a victim of identity theft, or you are concerned that someone else is trying to open a credit account in your name. A fraud alert is a sign to a lender to be careful and verify your identity before providing your loan. This is because it alerts them there is a chance that fraud could be committed with your credit information.

My account was used without my consent which eventually had my account blocked and I totally agree but why put me on the cifas list? I had an email just now from cifas that I’ve been involved in a third party fraud… so clearly im not the one that did the fraud so why I’m not allowed to own an account? I don’t get it guys some one should help me out.
