1. Each tor browser tab uses its own circuit. anyone can easily validate this by looking at the circuit made in each tab. so you can safely keep identities separate just by using different tabs. however, going from one log-in site to a non-log-in site in the same tab, within the circuit refresh time (10 minutes), one might accidentally tip off surveillance (ads) from site to site. at least, large exit relays are exiting for thousands of people at the same time, so there is still some protection. You also don't need to restart Tor each time you want a new tor circuit. you can refresh the circuit manually from within a tab, or you can just open a new tab.
2. using tor to log into sites, even facebook, still gives the user physical location privacy. it protect where they are physically. this is essential for domestic violence survivors, especially those who might have abusers who know their log in credentials and are able to see where they are logging in from based on past IPs logged in from, which some services show the user.

Finally someone who actually knows what they are talking about. There are so many people giving out incorrect advice and then we wonder why nobody can agree on anything anymore. That said i do have one correction to due with VPN. First if you are using a vpn your isp can still see you are using tor. Second the only way to use tor properly is hard to set up. The ONLY way to use it is first connect to tor then to your vpn and disconnect from yoru vpn before leaving the tor network. That said on the tor projects wiki, on the second or third questions, it says it does not recommend using a vpn at all. To me that means there is no debate, i trust the tor team over everyone else. good job man. u nailed all the important pioints.

Often when Tor is blocked I use some free proxy as last hop. Sadly this sometimes breaks some sites.

The curious thing is my Tor will not save passwords or ask to save passwords at logins. This is curious because I have that function box ticked in settings, but for some reason the program refuses to write PW's to the disk. I wish I knew how to fix it. I understand why Tor has it defaulted because it conflicts with other privacy functions of the program and defeats some aspects of security, but it sure is annoying.

Hi, thanks for the video. I am currently forced to buy a ticket from the country of origin: South Korea. I accessed the site via Torr and everything worked fine. Question: Is it less secure to pay with my credit card on Tor than on my google browser? Is there anything I should worry about when paying through Tor? Thanks again!
