The 411 - Rooster Tail Spinners Catch Trout

We make singles hook in every size however we do not make them barbless here at factory, but it is as simple as a pair of pliers to crimp them once you receive them. When ordering a single hook RT simply specify the letter “S” after the model # and that will indicate to the factory that you would like a single hook…ex 208S

wire, bucktail, thread, spinner blade, yarn or a copper pipe length and a treble. one of the simplest lures to tie yourself and I make mine for pennies apiece instead of paying 4 bucks for these

Do u know of anywhere I can catch trout of any kind or size in the Toronto area?

I love using rooster tails. However, the river I like to fish requires a single, barbless hook. Do you they make any?

could you put a split shot just above it for added weight? so I could cast it farther.

I would replace the treble with a single hook. Makes for an easy catch and release.

I see that you hook your spinners through the eyes of the rod. This can lead to abrasions and scratches in the eyelet and cause lines to get frayed and weak. Just a quick tip I thought I'd share.

The blade does not need to spin to catch trout! Just simply jig and I've caught hundreds!

The blade does not need to be rotating in order to catch trout! I disagree! I have caught thousands with out the blade spinning:) Read the back of the rooster tail box! Instructions equal common sense!
