How Grant Williams Made the Boston Celtics Beat the Bucks

The Boston Celtics just paid back the Milwaukee Bucks in game 2 by completely changing up their strategy. There were some red flags that I see coming for Boston for game 3, but first we need to dive into 3 reasons why the Celtics were able to dominate the defending champs. The first reason was all about ball movement and the way the Celtics chose to attack the bucks. I can’t say enough about how important the first 3 or 4 possessions are, and these teams couldn’t have ran things any more different. Take a look at this possession as Boston is giving up Good shots for a Gooder ones. This does two things, obviously it creates great quality high percentage looks, but it engages the entire team and sets the tone for the rest of the game.
This was Giannis attemkoompos reaction to scoring a basket….I broken down exactly how the Boston Celtics were able to frustrate the Greek Freak to the point of exhaustion.
The Celtics have evened things up in the Eastern Conference Semifinals with an impressive win over the Bucks in Game 2.
A red-hot first half set the tone for the Celtics, who shot 20 of 43 (46.5 percent) from 3-point range in the game. Jaylen Brown scored 25 first-half points before finishing the game with 30 points. Jayson Tatum added 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting and Grant Williams sank six 3s off the bench to score 21 points in the game.
as For Milwaukee, the offense just wasn't there. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored five points in the first half before scoring 23 points in the final two frames. As a team, the Bucks shot 3 of 18 (16.7 percent) from 3-point range.
