I compare footage from the BMPCC 4k to the BMPCC 6K.

No, they do not look exactly the same. The 6K has way greener shadows, and if you look at Mario's blue pants and shirt, you'll see that the hues aren't the exact same (more purplish on the 6K).
Curtains aren't the same exact color either. At first glance (in some situations), they look very similar (same color science), but their sensor is very different and react to light differently. For instance, i got the Emotive Color P4Kalex LUT (which converts the Pocket 4K into the ARRI Alexa). I used that for a while. Then, Emotive Color released the P6Kalex LUT. OMG, the difference is MAJOR. The image was green with the P4Kalex LUT, and now it's PERFECT! Here's the proof that colors aren't the same, otherwise the same exact LUT would have worked perfectly for both cameras. Also, the 4K is not holding color accuracy when over/underexposed, then corrected. The 6K does, up to 4 stops! This is one of the biggest difference between the two, and nobody talk about it.

The difference is HUGE... it puts the 6k in the pro league and the 4K in the DSLR league (even though they can look very similar in some situations)

This is the worst comparison ever. PERIOD !
